Spray a 8x12 baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
Preparing the apples
In a mixing bowl place the apple slices, 2 tbsp molasses, 1/4 cup dark brown sugar, 1 tsp lemon juice and 1/2 tsp cinnamon. Mix together and transfer to the baking dish.
Preparing the topping
In a seperate bowl, add all topping ingredients and using a pastry cutter (you can also use a butter knife, forks or your hands!) cut the butter into the oat mixture until the butter is smaller than a pea.
Spread the topping over the apples in the baking dish and lightly pat.
Place the baking dish in the oven and bake for about 45 minutes.
