About Life Transpires

For close to two decades, I always defined myself by my job. I was an HR leader. I am a type A, work-a-holic, over-achiever. After years of focusing solely on my career life transpires and I decided to go on the journey of a life time and become a mother.

Trying to balance work and motherhood, I realized I needed to find a balance.  The proverbial we can have it all was not a reality, far from it.  Then one day I read somewhere that, we can have it all, just not at once.

This put life into perspective for me. I strive now to find the balance between all of the roles I play. Being a mother, a wife, an employee, a chef, a preschool teacher all while still trying to find time for me.

I am blessed to have so many things in my life that I am passionate about.  Through my journey, I have found that things I enjoy for me, can cross over into the roles I need to play.  For example, cooking homemade meals and finding fun things to do with kids all bring me joy but help fill some of the roles I need to play as well.

I know first hand how hard it is to cook a homemade meal while working (let alone figuring out what to cook!) and would love to help you on some of my families favorite meals and fun.

Over the last few years, I have compiled dozens of recipes and crafts that we enjoyed. I am sharing them with you so you can hopefully free up some of your time to spend on other that are your passions!

You got this mom! .
