Easy White Sangria Recipe
Nothing says summer days like a glass of sangria! White sangria is super refreshing on a hot summer day. It is also a great way to use up extra fruit that maybe on verge of being too ripe to eat.
You can be creative on the fruits you use including: peaches, raspberries, blackberries, strawberries, pineapples, apples, mangoes and the list goes on!
While you can drink white sangria immediately after making, I recommend waiting at least 1 hour. This allows the fruit and the alcohol to meld together.
Common Questions when making White Sangria:
What type of fruit do you recommend?
I love to experiment with different fruits when making sangria as each combination gives a different flavor.
What is the best wine to use when you make white wine sangria?
Use an inexpensive white wine! I usually recommend using a crisp white wine like a pinot grigio or a sauvignon blanc. Not sure what a crisp white wine is? Check out this article by VinePair.
Do I server White Sangria over ice?
You sure can! I have also used frozen fruit when I am ready to serve, this is in addition to the fruit used when making.
What do I serve Sangria with?
Sangria is the perfect compliment to a summer BBQ, fruit and cheese plate, brunch or with Mexican food.
