4th of July Popsicle

This Red, White and Blue Popsicle is full of yummy fruit flavors, and with the colors it makes the perfect 4th of July Popsicle.

For those that follow us, you know we are always trying to limit added sugar for the kids, and these red, white and blue popsicles (that make a perfect dessert with no sugar added) are no different!  They are made with whole milk and LOTS of fresh fruit.

HELLO… Strawberries, Raspberries, Blueberries, Blackberries, Pineapple and Coconut!

One piece of advice, if you want the BLUE to really POP, I do suggest using some natural blue food color we recommend using McCormick Nature’s Inspiration Food Colors, 0.51 Oz.

I am so proud of him pouring the contents into each popsicle container! Almost nothing spilled over! Can you believe he is only 4?!?!?

We always look for ways for the kids to help in the cooking.

Sometimes the best lessons we learn are through mistakes.  A few weeks ago he turned the blender on with out the lid…

He now makes sure the lid is on very tight each time now.

After we pour the red mixture into each popsicle mold about a third full, we move onto blue!
